If you want to get in on the fun and prizes, head over to Stacey’s Blog and whip up a pair of Kickin’ Back Sweats or Mr. Two-Face Pants for the February Sew-Along.

Let’s take a look at some of the awesome sweats and pants that have made their appearances in our Sewing for Boys Flickr Pool:

2012 Year-Long Sew-Along is kicking off now!

I don’t know when was the last time I was so excited for a sew-along….

Stacey is “pumping up” for the sew-along with 2 weeks of guest posts over on her blog: Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy

There’s a cool PRIZE for this month’s pattern: The Raglan Tee.

Raw-Edged Raglan Motor City Style

Check out Stacey’s Rules for the contest here and be sure to sign up to win!

I’ll be sewing along, since my kid’s nearly out of tee shirts and because I *love* this pattern!

Christmas Pajamas

Emma Jeffrey from the amazing and wonderful Hello Beautiful blog of crafty goodness wrote a lovely little piece for Fiskars this week which features our Goodnight, Sweetheart PJs.

It certainly has me thinking about lots of flannel! What about you?

year-long sew-along!

Stacey from Oh Boy, Oh boy, Oh boy crafts is hosting a year-long sew-along starting on January 1, 2012.

She has some prizes lined up for each month’s creation, and will be sewing for her three boys.  There are some rules to the contest which you can read by clicking on the sew-along logo below.

We hope you’ll join her.  I know what we’ll be sewing all year!

Henry Shirt Sew-along

Who would like a step-by-step, how-to-sew tutorial with photos of that adorable (“advanced”) first project from the book?

Krista from Thar She Sews and Leila from Bilingual Baby have teamed up to produce a really wonderful sew-along of the Henry Shirt, and share the times they have spent with their respective seam-rippers as well (so you can avoid the same).

Don’t worry if you missed the start because you were working on Halloween costumes or you were at quilt market, or what-not, you can jump in now and have a beautiful Henry Shirt for your own guy.
